The Sweetness of October

Well, it's October.  That means one thing to me.  Candy Corn.  I am only allowed to consume candy corn during the month of October.  Now I know what you're thinking, "Good for you, Heidi. You're setting limits and being healthy, treating yourself a little and not completely denying your sweet tooth."

Untrue.

I can only consume candy corn during the month of October because during the month of November I am too busy consuming my dad's famous chocolate covered Ritz cracker cookies and during the month of December I am completely consumed with consuming my grandmother's lefse (lef-suh: a Norwegian flatbread that you soak in water and then fill with butter and sugar).

Bring on the toothpaste.
